The Worldwide Digital Sign Association (WWDS) is being developed as a free, independent industry organization bringing digital signage professionals together through education, collaboration, networking, project sharing, referrals, and practical technical support.
The association intends to connect experienced signage professionals, resellers, technology providers, installers, and related organizations. Its goal is to create a professional network where members can exchange knowledge, showcase successful projects, build trusted business relationships, share referrals, and connect with association leadership.
Structured as a non-sales industry organization, WWDS is intended to complement existing companies and partner relationships rather than compete with them. Its developing support model places Level 1 support with local partners and resellers, Level 2 support through the association, and advanced Level 3 technical matters with specialized technology providers.
WWDS is also exploring opportunities to extend digital signage into physical security, fencing, schools, and emergency notification. The objective is to bring professionals from related industries together around public-facing communication systems capable of delivering information, alerts, and other critical messages where they are needed.
