VICTORIA, British Columbia — August 14, 2026 — Worldwide Digital Signage today announced the successful demonstration of an AI-driven workflow designed to update remote digital displays and web-based notifications using spoken instructions.
The workflow converts an authorized user’s spoken request into updated content and delivers it to connected digital signage without requiring the user to learn traditional content-management or screen-programming tools. The same approach can support real-time notices embedded in public-facing websites.
The demonstration represents a significant step in Worldwide Digital Signage’s work to make time-sensitive communications faster and easier to manage. Potential applications include public-service announcements, transit and airport information, community notifications, wayfinding, menu boards, and other environments where information changes frequently.
For organizations managing geographically distributed screens, the system is intended to simplify a process that can otherwise involve several manual steps. An authorized operator can speak to the AI agent, review the resulting update on the destination screen, and continue with their work.
The demonstrated workflow also uses AI to organize and improve the information supplied during the update process. This could help organizations communicate more clearly while reducing the time between identifying a needed change and displaying it publicly.
Worldwide Digital Signage plans to share the capability with selected partners and stakeholders as it evaluates potential deployments across public-information and commercial-signage environments.
