Worldwide Digital Signage is advancing a browser-based emergency alert prototype intended to help schools, cities, and public facilities display urgent safety information on connected screens.

The latest prototype review confirmed live testing of a classroom clock and alert experience, including emergency overlay behavior, iframe-based delivery, and early planning around a SAM/Amazon-hosted architecture. The team is also testing how the system can support earthquake-warning overlays, city demonstrations, and school-focused use cases while keeping deployment practical and cost-conscious.

The workflow is being designed around ordinary browser access, reducing the need for downloads or local installation. Current follow-up work includes improving the alert overlay behavior, documenting browser cache and incognito testing procedures, reviewing audio/video alert behavior, preparing a one-page demo story asset, and planning demonstrations through HPMC for city stakeholders.

The company is positioning the prototype as a practical way for schools and civic partners to evaluate emergency messaging on existing display infrastructure, with future work focused on reliability, clear alert presentation, and browser-safe notification behavior.
